Help Wanted - ACSA is seeking a talented IT individual with current Word Press and conventional website development experience. Our immediate need is for such an individual to repair our existing website and migrate the site to a GoDaddy Managed Word Press Server. If interested please send an email to Ken Beard with a brief description of your qualifications to receive a more detailed description of our needs.


NEXT WEEKEND - The Rio Salado Cowboys will be hosting a SASS RO-1 Course on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club in Mesa AZ. The class will run from 9-2 in Training Building 130, which is located across the main range road from the cowboy shooting bays. All the training will be indoors and all SASS members are encouraged to attend.

The fee for first time students is $25, refresher student fee is $10.

The goal of the RO-1 Course to is to develop SASS Range Operations Safety Officers who possess the knowledge, skills and attitude to ensure safety and consistency at all SASS matches.

The RO-1 Course Student Handbook is available for download on the SASS website.

Come join us at Rio Salado and earn your RO-1 pin.

Prepare yourself for February 2020. This is going to be a busy month. The weekend of February 8-9 will see ACSA hosting two 6-stage matches, one Saturday and one Sunday. The Application will be available soon. The next weekend, February 15-16, will be the 2020 AZ Wild Bunch Championship at Cowtown. The application can be found here. The next weekend, February 22-23 is 2020 Fire & Ice at Cowtown. The application can be found here. The next day, February 24, the 2020 edition of Winter Range gets underway with the 10-Stage SASS Wild Bunch Championship on Monday and Tuesday, Sidematches and Warmup on Wednesday, and then the Main Cowboy match on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Popular Events Outside AZ

NEXT WEEKEND - The New Mexico Wild Bunch State Championship will be held at Founder's Ranch August 24th and 25th. From J. Frank Norfleet = We will have a lot of good food, great prizes and a fun match. We will have buckles for the winners. Only the SASS conchos have to go to state residents but the buckles and other prizes go to whoever wins! There is also free camping at Founders Ranch. Click here for the Entry Form.
